Visit to the church.

Hi MEH Family,

We went to the church today with the Anthony from Sofos Reality. The church is even better on the inside then we could have hoped. It does need some work but it can be ready in a week for the Montessori Enrichment for Homeschoolers to move in, with a little attention and cleaning. It will require more attention before we can do our first show, but I think we could still be on track for a September show.

And without further ado here are the pictures:

The "classroom" out back.

Inside the classroom. Sorry about the reflection.

Jen in the Kitchen. She won't be in there often.

The Stage. It's a solid wall in the back, but we have a work around already.

The Church

Hi Everyone,

We found a place we really like for the theater and Homeschool Enrichment program. It is an old Church in the Barber's Point area. It is large enough and has some great potential for outdoor playscaping. The Neighborhood used to be a Naval Air station that is slowly going back to the community. The Price tag is set at $1.5 Million, but considering the area and the amount of new property being built in that area it's a pretty good deal. We are working a few angles to raise the money but our most ambitious right now is the Crowdfunding campaign here.

Thanks for checking us out

Welcome

Hi Folks,

My name is Addicus. My wife Jen and I are starting a pair of businesses this year. They will be housed in the same building and share a lot of staff but they really are two separate ideas. The first is the Montessori Enrichment for Homeschoolers or MEH. Jen will be facilitating classes for preschool to sixth grade aged homeschooled children to come and enjoy education from another source. It also give homeschooling parents an opportunity for a rare break. The center really offers a lot and has plans to grow pretty far in our first year. Check it out here. We are running a crowdfunding campaign here at Rockethub.com.

Out second venture is Oahu Children's Theater Organization (OCTO). We are planning a show every other month with 6-8 performances per show. The theater will also be made available for other performing groups to work around our schedule as well as theater workshops during off months. We have a separate crowdfunding campaign for the theater. This one we recognize is a little more wishful, but it can't hurt to try. The building we are looking at is amazing and I will post pictures here soon to share with anyone interested.

Thanks
Addicus
